	Black animals seem to be a lot harder to do realistically than any other color. This is an attempt to do a black unicorn. The background is modified from a photo from a royalty-free clip art package called 'Art Explosion 750,000 Images' available at http:www.novadevelopment.com

I think the coats a lil too shiny..if thats what that is.. and if they're hightlights I'd tone em down a bit. Aside for that, I love it. And the black unicorn idea.. I love it..Equines are every colour, unicorns dont have to be just white. so nanner to that one weirdo,
1 Aug 2004	Sophia Hutchings	Loading... There's so much complaint about the highlights in his coat! I don't think there's anything wrong with it! He looks almost metallic, and I don't think it's in the least bit unusual for him to be a tad glowier then a real horse would be in that kind of lighting. White unicorns often have an almost heavenly white glow to them, why can't a black one have a beautiful sheen of gold? Anyway, I think he's awesome. I love all your pics. Keep it up!

4 May 2005	BlackSquirrel	Loading... I actually like black unicorns better than white, mainly because they're ALWAYS white.I've read some books with unicorns in them where they're all different colors. Makes things more interesting!I love the big!

15 Mar 2007	Tigerlili	Loading... Aw, its so cute!! I get it! A black prince of majestic animals stands on a mountain, watching the sun rise into a cloudless sky, wondering what havoc to create today. Heehee!! I wish i could color black horses. Sadly, i can only sketch, and even my sketches aren't as good as urs.
