| 10 Aug 2004 | Belinda Duvessa | Loading...Her pelvic area seems a little off to me...and Drow females are usually fighters anyways, but that's ok. I love her pet, though. Other than that this is an awesomely done picture. | |
| 1 Sep 2004 | Breanne | Loading...wow. you suck. thanks a lot. I only have one month before renaissance festival, and absolutely no time to change my garb to drow. next time you choose to inspire someone, could you be a bit more time conscious? wonderful, marvelous, beautiful hair, I absolutely love the armour/garb. Perhaps next season I'll manage to pull off something more drow-inspired. | |

| 3 Mar 2006 | Anomonyous | Loading...It's a very excellent picture, far better than anything I can do! But I have two criticisms. The first being that amazon woman cut off one of there breasts, I believe so that it doesn't get in the way of a bow. The second is that the creature behind her looks a little to close to the creature off "Riddick" (can't remember the movies name). And I should you're not plagarizing. Anyway it's still a beautiful picture all the same. | |
| 12 Apr 2006 | Psyche | Loading...Okay, let's deal with this, shall we? (1) Her pelvis is not off; she has one hip thrown out to the side. It's a very popular pose for fashion models, as it exaggerates the waist and makes the thighs appear slimmer. (2) There's only so many basic fantasy creature types, and an artist can't invent a new creature everytime he or she wishes to draw one. The beast is NOT too close to the movie-monster - it's just a basic mamallian/reptilian hybrid dragon-beast. Accusing someone of plagiarism is a big deal anywhere, but particularly offensive on Elfwood, since it's not a commercial site but purely for viewer and artist enjoyment. If you are going to level a charge of plagiarism - WHICH IS INTELLECTUAL THEFT - against an artist, you had damn well better have evidence to back up your words. To mention the word 'plagiarism' so casually is very foolish, and artists tend to be defensive about it, since they have to constantly be so careful not to plagiarise that they tend to take a LOT of offense to a casual suggestion that they might have done so. Anyway, now that that's said...Donna, I love how you made her skin so smooth and shiny, and so incredibly ebon without losing any of her feature definition in the process. My only critique? Bosoms do seem a wee bit out of proportion and she is on tiptoe, but then again, it IS fantasy. A lovely piece, overall. You should be proud. | |
| 3 May 2006 | Shadow faerie | Loading...sounds like Anonymous knows a lot about amazon women | |
| 10 Aug 2006 | Bohemian_draca | Loading...Very cool picture!
to the second anonymous, thats a complete myth that amazons cut off one breast. They'd actually just strap it down, if they did anything. Does it seem logical at all that someone without todays advanced technologies would be able to cut off one breast and still be healthy enough to be a fighter? >_> | |
| 12 Oct 2006 | Anonymous | Loading...It's a nice pic, I agree. The hip does seem a bit awkwardly shaped to me, since it isn't reflected as much on the other side of the hip, making it shift toward the side that is sticking out. And the only other comment deals with "...and Drow females are usually fighters anyways". Drow females are usually clerics, much fewer are fighters. But the pic is still really good. | |
