The fun and tricky part about this image was getting the chain mail dress to look like that or at least something close to it. This is Inwe Seregon, a character from a friend's RPG.

It sure is a nice picture, but I have to disagree with the other persons about the chain-mail. Chain-mail is a very heavy material, that falls down and shape around the body. Therefor it could never fall (or rather not fall) the way it does at the arms. It would also be very hard to make it stay at the chest, because it would adjust it's width after the body, and therefor always be to loose.
Besides from all this, it is a very beautiful picture, and You'd have had to wear a chain-mail before knowing all this about them.

The shading's too 3-D make it looks weird.

Chain mail is sho heavy it'll fall right off, reavealing all. She should not wear that. Or maybe it's fake, even if the light is strong she shouldn't be so 3-D it just looks wrong!

Magnificient. Could be mithril maille. (To explain its lightness)
Beautifully done.

I have to agree with Mette about the sleeves. They're not falling right; it's like they're breaking the law... of gravity. ^_^ But overall this is a beautiful pic!

Omg you people sure can be harsh. Y'all start complaining just cuz she doesn't ahere to the law of gravity. My god. It's fantasy. It seems that too many people have forgotten that since it's fantasy it doesn't have to adhere to the law of gravity or anything. Honestly can't you people just get over yourselves and your laws and just enjoy a beautiful picture? I mean look at it. It's absolutely gorgeous. And she did very well on the chainmail. I know I can't do anything like that. Anyways this is awesome. Keep up the good work.

You did a great job with the chainmail but the sleeves (even fantasy worlds have their own laws by witch they go, none would really enjoy a totally chaotic rule-less world, as humans do need so point to hold on). I love the facial expression a lot. I am also not so bother with the sleeves as with the light source, the legs of the woman should not be that visible if the deer standing next to her is totally covered in darkness.
Lovely composition.
